We source high quality green coffee beans directly from the coffee farms, which are then roasted in small batches here in Ireland.
Our Brazilian Coffees are sourced directly from Alto Alegre Coffees with new coffees being added from farms partners in Colombia.

Mundo Novo (Brazil - Alto Alegre Farm)
If you love a cappuccino, latte or flat white this is the coffee for you!
This is a classic Brazilian coffee with fragrance of peanuts and toffee and flavours of almond, dark chocolate, prunes and brown sugar.
It has a big, chewy body, low acidity and with a dry, astringent finish.
It works really well paired with dairy (or dairy substitutes) coffee drinks.

Yellow Bourbon (Brazil - Alto Alegre Farm)
This is another complex coffee with aromas of honey and figs with flavours of caramel and brown sugar in the aftertaste.
It has a medium, complex acidity and a smooth, medium body. The coffee is sweet, well-structured and has a lingering finish ideal for Espresso and Americanos.

Yellow Catuaí (Brazil - Alto Alegre Farm)
This coffee is an all-rounder!
It has almond and chocolate fragrance and flavours of almond, roasted hazelnut, dark chocolate, and cherries; with a low but complex acidity.
It is a complex coffee and it has a medium to high body with a velvety mouth feel and a lingering finish.
This coffee is very versatile and can be used in Espresso, Americanos and dairy drinks such as Cappuccinos and Lattes.

Pink Bourbon (Colombian)
This is a sweet and bubbly coffee with notes of champagne and pineapple.
This coffee is great as a filter coffee. Perfectly suited to Americanos and Espressos and ideal for an Irish Coffee!

Canyon of Tolima (Colombian)
Tolima has notes of toffee and dry grass in the fragrance and toffee, pear, milk chocolate in flavour. The finish is very dry, astringent but sweet. It has medium body and complex acidity.
This coffee is very versatile and can be used in Espresso, Americanos and dairy drinks such as Cappuccinos and Lattes.

Farm Partners
Alto Alegre Coffees is managed by a family of traditional coffee growers who have cultivated the fertile soil of South Minas Gerais since 1880. Today the 5th generation continues this passion for the coffee business.
The coffees produced on the farm are primarily of the Mundo Novo, Yellow Bourbon and Catuaí varieties which have complex profiles and flavor nuances rarely found.
We regularly visit our farm partners in Brazil, meet the farmers who produce our coffee, check the harvest for the following season and review the farming methods.
